AANM provides representation in the Legislative and Regulatory arenas for the industry as a whole. This course will cover relevant laws, the meaning of discrimination, whom is covered by Fair Housing regulations, the kinds of discrimination that are prohibited, FHA exemptions, reasonable accommodation, accessibility issues, enforcement, the local perspective and damages. This class will be offered as an all-day class for Property Managers (taught in English), and a half-day class for Maintenance (taught in Spanish).
